I've had only the utmost positive experiences at North Shore Advanced Eye Care. Dr. Moylan is extremely experienced, competent and professional, not to mention empathetic, friendly and kind. His entire demeanor is one that reminds you you're in his very capable hands. The rest of his staff follows in his footsteps, too. If you've ever regretted being treated at a large, institutionally-owned practice, replete with impatient and rude staff (including the doctors), do yourself a huge favor and visit this privately-owned practice. You'll experience, first-hand, people who understand the importance of treating other people well.

This was my first time there after seeing an eye doctor for over 30 years. I was quite impressed with the care and concern given to me as well as the amount of time spent going over my vision issues. I used to spend several hours at my other doctor’s office just waiting because they obviously overbooked, but he was a specialist in my condition so it was hard to find someone else. He was a gem, as well. When he retired, he recommended Northshore Advanced Eyecare and I saw Dr. Dimartini. I couldn’t be happier! That said, I’m hoping my new glasses will work well when they’re ready! That’s been an issue in the past, so time will tell! Otherwise, I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience! Update: I posted my review three weeks ago and while I loved my first appointment, I’m still waiting for my glasses, and I was notified yesterday that it’ll be another week until I get them. I’m used to waiting two weeks because I have special lenses, but a month without my reading glasses is extremely difficult, especially due to my work.

I had such a pleasant experience at this office, starting from my first interaction with Karen on the phone to Dr. Moylan to finishing up with Karen at the end. Dr. Moylan has a calming demeanor and is very knowledgeable which made me feel comfortable. Everything was quick and painless! Karen let me know exactly what my benefits covered and she took the time to explain them to me without me feeling rushed even though the office was busy. Dr. Ed Moylan is a class act. Vinnie, the guy who sells you eye glasses, not so much. But Ed Moylan deserves the 5-stars...hands down.

It is a breath of fresh air to visit well run and friendly medical office. Dr. Moylan did all the tests you'd expect for an eye examination and then explained the results in an unrushed conversation. He corrected my vision to 20 -20, which my optomologist said he could not do.
