Diagnostic Testing:

OCTWe use the latest imaging technology (Spectral Domain OCT) to assess the health of your eyes.  Images so detailed it is like taking a biopsy of the layers of your eyes while being as non-invasive as taking a picture.  Here is an examle of retinal traction.  Want to see other examples of eye diseases diagnosed with this technology?  The OCT is used for:

  • Diabetic eye disease
  • Macular degeneration
  • Glaucoma
  • Retinal diseases

OPDIIIComputerized assisted refractive exams (OPD-III) uses wave-front technology (same used in laser vision correction) for fast, accurate measurements of your eyeglass prescriptions.  Detailed measurements of your cornea and visual pathway allows unpresidented interpretation of your visual system.  This is an example of a corneal disease called Keratoconus.  Here are some more examples of diseases of the cornea.

The OPD-III is used for:

  • Routine prescription evaluation
  • Detection of corneal disease
  • Diagnosis of cataracts
  • Soft contact lens fitting
  • Custom Gas-Permeable and specialty lens fitting
